Hi there
I’m off to sunny California today to attend a once in a lifetime mastermind business coaching group facilitated by renowned mastermind Coach David Neagle. Now I know a lot about therapy and spiritual energy, but I am not a ‘business’ person, meaning I was not trained in Business.
Many therapists need extra training on how to run a business because we focus our work around client health and so in our training we don’t necessarily focus on how to promote ourselves as a business when we run a private practice. I have been studying under some pretty successful people when it comes to business but nothing helps me more than a little one to one coaching and hands on expertise.
Everyone needs help from time to time. I don’t ever think that I can’t run a successful business because I don’t have a degree in business, I just need some guidance provided by a qualified professional. I wish that more people would adopt this mindset when it comes to negative or problematic issues in their lives.
I hear time and again people saying that they are frustrated or stressed out about some part of their life that isn’t functioning well and they don’t know what to do. But when solutions or resources are offered they dismiss them and say that they will deal with the issues themselves, and then do nothing but continue to complain about their circumstances.
If you want for help with a particular area of your life that is out of sync and you ask for guidance from a therapist, this does not mean that you’re ‘mentally ill’ or even that there is something wrong with you. You are seeking help in an area that is not working optimally at this point in your life. Just like I need guidance around operating a successful business and one that is also online, then I would be remiss if I didn’t get the proper help.
Your mental health and well being should be of optimal importance to you because when you don’t take care of yourself in this way, the rest of your life will quickly become affected too. So begin to change your mindset about seeking help from a therapuetic professional and live your life to the fullest. You deserve it!
Keep your face to the sunshine!
